The Diablo Theatre Company’s Performing Arts Academy presents our Triple Threat Performance Training for Teens for the Spring.
Get your “Glee” on! (Ages 7-15)
Currently in Session
Become the next member of Diablo Theatre company’s newest program, The Glee Club! Featuring a fully-staged performance revue showcasing songs from RENT, A Chorus Line, BIG and Hairspray!
Students will audition for class placements on February 13 from 4:30PM – 6:30PM. (Students do not need to prepare anything for this audition.) Saturday classes begin on February 18th and Monday classes begin February 20th.
Class Meetings (Each student will attend one class each week)
Saturdays – 9AM
Saturdays – 11AM
Mondays – 4PM
No class the week of April 2nd.
Additional Rehearsals
Friday, April 13 (Final Studio Rehearsal)
Saturday, April 14 (TECH rehearsal at the theatre)
Performance:
Sunday, April 15 ● 1:00 pm

Spotlight Intensive (Ages 10 & up)

The Performing Arts Academy will be featuring a “Spotlight Intensive” each quarter, where students will receive more personal instruction, focusing on one discipline. This spring we are featuring a VOCAL emphasis for beginner and advanced singers. Whether you belt it out in the shower, or in front of large audiences, this i s the perfect opportunity for singers of all skill-sets to expand, improve and impress!
The Singer’s Boot Camp
Receive one-on-one instruction to vocally enhance the quality, power and use of your own instrument! Learn regimented warm-ups and exercises to toughen up and strengthen your vocal chords. Learn and prepare audition selections right for your voice. This 5 week intensive will be focusing on vocal technique and performance, audition preparation and story song interpretation. Taught by Professional Bay Area Actor, Robbie Brewer. *Class size will be limited to 15 students.

Tuition: $275**
(Includes sheet music for all songs learned for performance and audition use.)
All skill-sets are encouraged to participate.
Classes take place at “The Firehouse” – 1948 Oak Park Blvd., Pleasant Hill
